OUR FOUNDER
NATHAN VU
Nathan is a Summa Cum Laude Chemistry-with-Honors graduate from UC San Diego. After completing AP Calculus AB in ninth grade, he began tutoring students one-on-one. Graduating high school and college in five years, Nathan firmly believes in working smart and building passions beyond the classroom. In his free time, he enjoys whipping up new dishes for his friends and learning new languages, setting his sights on German and Russian this year.

Leo ð
Leo is a senior undergraduate double majoring in Bioengineering and Chemistry at UC San Diego. He first began tutoring general and organic chemistry his sophomore year. Currently, Leo tutors mathematics, chemistry, and physics at the high school and college level. In his free time, Leo enjoys cooking and going on hiking trips.

English, Statistics
Katherine ðĪŠ
Katherine is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies and a Secondary (minor) in Statistics at Harvard University, and she plans to attend law school after graduation. Katherine realized how much she liked tutoring as a writing tutor in high school and now serves as a Course Assistant for Statistics 104, Harvard’s introductory course to statistics for economics. Outside of class, Katherine is a passionate violinist of 14 years and continues to play in the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, Brattle Street Chamber Players, and various musical productions. In her free time, Katherine enjoys cooking and baking for her family, watching YouTube, and jamming out to her Spotify playlists.

Angela ð
Angela is a third-year Mathematics of Computation student at UC Los Angeles. She first began tutoring students one-on-one in high school, then interned at UCLA Cal Teach, where she taught math in a traditional classroom setting. Angela also specializes in physics and English. In her spare time, Angela enjoys baking and having fun with friends.

Joseph ð
âJoseph is a business major at UC San Diego. Joseph graduated from Seoul Foreign School in Seoul, Korea, and completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program with HL Literature, Physics, and Econ. He has tutored students since high school and even organized a tutoring program for all grade levels at his school in Korea. Having graduated from an overseas high school and as a bilingual, he is confident in working with students of various backgrounds and ages. Joseph specializes in Physics, Econ, and Math. During his free time, Joseph enjoys reading books, playing basketball, and cooking.

Ron ð
Ron is a third-year neurobiology student at UC San Diego who plans to pursue medical school after graduation. As a tutor for over 3 years and sporting multiple jobs under his belt, he can confidently say that guiding students towards academic success is among his greatest passions. Though proficient in all high school subjects, he especially loves tutoring life sciences, such as chemistry and biology. Ron likes to spend his free time playing piano and doing outdoor activities, mainly hiking and surfing.

Ryuen ðĨģ
Ryuen is a senior undergraduate computer science major at UCSD. He tutors mathematics and computer science at a high school and college level. He is excited to start his career at Amazon as a software engineer this spring. In his free time, he loves playing volleyball and going to music festivals.

William ð
William is a Summa Cum Laude in Pre-Medical Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Thomas Jefferson University. After completing his degree, he will be attending Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Medical College in the Fall of 2022. He has been working as a tutor at his university since he first matriculated. William specializes in teaching the social sciences, chemistry, biology, and physics. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and playing piano.

Alejandro ðĪŊ
Alejandro is a fresh alumnus from UC San Diego, graduating in 2021 with a double major in Neurobiology and Linguistics and with his sights set on medical school. As a tutor for the last four years, he has helped high schoolers and college students with a wide range of coursework, although his favorites are the life sciences, foreign languages such as Spanish and French, and writing composition. Alejandro is driven to light the candle of inspiration in each student’s mind, empowering them to manifest their dreams in both career and hobby. As for himself, he enjoys hiking, naturalism, playing soccer, meditation and reading classics.
